It seems like it should be self-explanatory, but I'm still confused. Purchased kids BG tix that include free all day dining. I can see that it is at certain restaurants, and only for kids meals. Do the kids meals include drinks? If they only want a drink can they just go through the line and get a kids drink only using the wristband?

Yes they can.
they can also get a side or dessert or another complete meal whenever they want . You do have to wait in line but still worth the amount paid.
I would get the meal plan for me, too. Food is good. If you like BBQ meats they are excellent there.
