bus trasportation from asmo

My husband and I are taking our two daughters,6 and 2 on their first visit to WDW in October. We are estimating our arrival at ASMo at 11am. We have PS for HDR at 5. Any advice on what to do on our first day? And also what is the best way to get there and back.

What kind of tickets will you have?

If you have park hopper tickets, you may not want to "waste" a day for only a few hours of being in the park. Go to the marketplace in DTD. The Lego store would be a big hit.

At about 3:30 take the bus to FW. You may have to change busses at the TTC.


If you have a UPH, go to MK. At around 4:30, take the boat to FW and walk to HDR.

When done, take the boat back to MK and take the bus back to your resort.


You may wnat to post the bus question on the transportation board to get some better (correct ) information.

Well, the only way to get from resort to resort via bus is to connect at a park or DTD. I would recommend since its such a short time to check out the resort for a bit, hop a bus to DTD, look around a bit, then take the bus to Fort Wilderness for HDR.
