Bus transportation at BCV

We will be at BCV in late August... how long does it take to ride a bus to/from BCV to (1) Magic Kingdom & (2) Downtown Disney?... Been reading about poor transportation at BWV... is this the same route as BCV?

There was someone who just posted on the Resorts board about either YC or BC... can't remember which. But they reported that bus transportation for them was just fine for them. You'll find people on both sides of the river... but usually the folks who have no problems stay more quiet.

Travel times can vary by driver, my personal experiences put an average of 10-15 minutes to the MK, depending on if they stop at the Boardwalk.

Downtown Disney is a different story, because there are multiple stops within the DTD area. The bus ride could be anywhere from 12-25 minutes.

I appreciate you giving me estimates on approximate travel times by bus at the BCV... this will be our first stay there. I will check out the Resort board for more info -

Our last trip to WDW was June 2000 when we stayed at Port Orleans (when it was called Port Orleans). We had favorable bus transportation there - especially due to the buses stopping at PO first before going to Dixie Landings.

I spent alot of time on the transportation board last night - and I appreciate your abundant input on how the buses operate based on a drivers' experience. It really helps round out the other perspectives posted on the board. It's wonderful to see someone who takes so much pride in his work - if we happen to ride on one of your buses during our August visit, we will give you a big THANK YOU!
