We have 7:30am reservations at Boma on a Saturday. We are staying at BWV. Are we going to be able to get a Disney Bus to DTD and then over to AKL that early in the morning? Would a cab be a better idea? What would you do?

Yes, do the cab - it is a nominal cost and will save you so much time. We took a cab from the Swan to the Cali Grille for dinner to not have to go on such a circuitous route and leave so early to make our PS.

Yes. Being that it is so early in the morning that a cab may be the best bet.

Thanks! ;)

My advice would be to hop on the AK Park bus and tell the driver that you are going to Boma for breakfast at 7:30. At that time of day, he or she should be able to take you directly. The AK bus starts running at 7:00am, actual arrival time may vary.

This isn't a problem?

The whole reason that bus runs that early is so that guests can get to breakfasts at AK Lodge and Park. :)

Yes, I'm remembering now, going to CR for dinner reservations on a bus bound for MK (we planned to take the monorail from there). The bus driver kindly offered to drop us off at CR directly since he was driving right by and this was about 5pm in August. We were pleasantly surprised at this 'service' and thanked him profusely!!

Wow. This is all such wonderful advice. Thank you so much! I would have never known this! :)

When I worked night shifts, we'd do this often times as well. If you're the only one on the bus, it's no trouble at all to just swing right into one of the MK resorts on the way in. :)
