Well, in fairness, Lynx IS cheapest - but you're right, Mears' convenience MORE than balances out the extra cost. $15 round trip per person, picks you up at your resort, drops you off at the Universal Hub, reverses the procedure for the return trip. And there will be Mears staffers at the bus area, directing you to the correct return vehicle.
Contrast this with Lynx (which is, in fairness, a good, functional, public transit system): You need to get from your resort to the pickup spot at Pleasure Island/West Side, and that will be different from where the Disney bus drops you off; then as I said above you need to ride to Downtown Orlando and change buses; then head back south-ish and exit near, but not at, Universal and walk to the Hub. Then reverse the procedure to return - and hope all the buses are still running.
