Bus to MGM from Poly

Is there a bus that goes from the Poly resort to MGM or do you have to take a bus to TTC and catch another one to MGM from there?

You would either go to the TTC or over to MK to pick up a bus to MGM.
Another option that may appeal to you if you have time is to take the monorail from Poly to EPCOT and then boat from EPCOT to MGM. It is a lovely trip fully narrated and gives you a view of Boardwalk, Swan/Dolphin, Yacht and Beach club, etc.
We stumbled on it one trip and got to see areas we wouldn't have otherwise.
You load just before the bridge after England and You dock at MGM just outside the entry gates. It isn't a fast trip, but well worth the time if you can swing it.

There are buses to both Disney Studios and AK from the Polynesian. The bus stop is just a short way East of the GCH.

You could also take the bus from the TTC but there is NO bus from the MK itself to any park.

There is a direct bus from the Polynesian to the Disney-MGM Studios. When going inbound to the Studios during the morning MOD, it is a direct shot. (PM times, the bus might stop at the Grand Floridian) Coming back, the bus will make one quick stop at the Contemporary.
