Bus sharing at POFQ

i know during non-busy times POFQ shares the bus with POR. Do you think the week before Christmas will be a busy or non-busy period? We’re going from Dec 18-22, & i’m wondering if we should arrive early for the bus to get a spot.

We were actually there the week after Thanksgiving. Definitely a slower time.

The only time we shared a bus was to Disney Springs.

I have been to POFQ many times and always use Disney transportation. I can count the number of times we have shared with POR on one hand. Plus, at POFQ, you are picked up and dropped off first.

I think it will depend more on where you are going, and what time of day it is. During peak travel time no, in middle of day or hours before closing maybe. Especially to DHS and Disney Springs.

We were on a POFQ and it ended up going to Fort Wilderness, so that was different haha! Bus driver confessed she totally forgot where she was going. Then she went to Riverside when it was just a French Quarter bus. We got back eventually.

We have found that the sharing has gotten less with every trip. Last couple of trips we only shared when going to/from Epcot in the middle of the day during weekdays but not on the weekend ( may have to do with F & W) and some early A.M.( prior to 7:00) bus to MK. There was also an overflow MK bus last year that pick those of us who could get on & then made 1 stop at POR. We had no sharing for DHS the last 2 trips. We boat to DS weather permitting and after 4:30ish each resort has it's own boat.

I think by slow times they mean slow times of the day. We stayed there in 2015 and never had the bus stop at POR during the morning or near park close. We were taking our son back to the room for afternoon naps though and those buses were often shared.
