I think I read this somewhere but do the park buses leaving Kidani stop at Jambo House before leaving for the parks? We are staying at Kidani on our next trip. I think I also read the bus back to Kidani from Jambo is only the bus to Disney Springs, is this correct? I know the hike between is a bit of a walk and we will have small ones in tow, thanks in advance...smjj

It's a ten minute walk between the two buildings, even for old slow people like us.

It's faster to walk than wait for the right bus to go the direction you want. Even with the little ones. If you have a stroller it is a pain to fold and unfold it for a three minutes ride.

It's easy to catch a bus from Kidani to Jambo. Any of the park buses you can hop onto and get off at Jambo. Coming back I'd say walk it...

It's def much quicker to catch a bus from Kidani the buses were always full from Jumbo in our experience because it is the second stop.

We always took the shuttle. We never waited long for it to come.

I agree with this. We stayed at Jambo but wanted to try out the pool at Kidani and we walked out from the lobby and there was a shuttle van waiting for us both ways, we never waited and it was never full. We had 2 little ones in tow and it was an easy way to go between the 2 houses.

Definitely take the shuttle, no need to walk to the bus stop and take up seats. Shuttle is closer and quicker.

In the evening lots of guests are going to Jambo House for dinner or returning from dining to Kidani. So sometimes the shuttle van is packed.

Don't always trust that. I just got on an epcot bus at kidani and it skipped jambo...

I take the shuttle when I need to go between Kidani and Jambo.

Some buses at Jambo House and Kidani are no longer shared, so they don't stop at Jambo House when they leave Kidani. The buses going to Magic Kingdom and Disney Springs now have separate bus gates at MK and DS for Jambo House and Kidani Village.

Just ask the driver if they are stopping at Jambo House before you get on. Or wait for the shuttle van at the front door. We always tell the valet CM that we are waiting for the shuttle and they will give you an estimated time.

I am bumping this old thread. Sorry! Is there still a shuttle from Jambo House to Kidani Village?

We are eating at Sanaa in January with my mobility challenged in-laws who are making their first trip to Disney World. We would like to show them the lobby of Jambo House before dinner and then head over to Kidani Village. I think park buses go to Kidani first and then Jambo, but we would like to go in the opposite direction.

Bell Services operates the shuttle, so ask at the bell stand.

Buses headed to Disney Springs stop at Jambo House first and then Kidani Village.

Was running in oct. I asked what the times are for the shuttle and they just said they go back and forth all day and wait about 3 min at each place. So most the day they just drive alone. We got some really friendly ladies as our drivers the few times we used it

The nice thing about the shuttle in your situation is that it picks up/drops off much closer to the lobby than the buses do at Jambo & Kidani. Assuming you’ll be taking a bus from elsewhere to AKL & getting off at Jambo to see the lobby be aware that it’s a little bit of an uphill walk from the bus stop to the lobby. Of course the walk from the bus stop to Kidani’s lobby is uphill too.

The shuttle will definitely be the easiest way to go between Kidani and Jambo.

For those who happen to be walking by arriving buses when wanted to go between the sections: Last month it appeared that buses to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom typically stopped first at Kidani, then Jambo and buses to Hollywood Studios and Disney Springs stopped first at Jambo, then Kidani. This could change (especially if the bus fills up at the first stop and then skips the second) so if you wanted to take a park bus to the other part of the resort, I'd wait until the rest of the crowd has boarded and then ask the driver about the next stop.
