Has anyone had any transportation problems at either the All Star Resorts or POP? I know everyone has different opinions, but which resort has better transportation in your opinion? I booked POP for the end of Aug yesterday, but have read some threads about the POP bus service being very busy.

I am probably just being paraniod... :)

I haven't stayed at POP yet (June will be our first stay), but I hear that their bus service is pretty good because they have there own (do not share with any of the other resorts). We have stayed at All-Star Movies before and they share buses with the other two All-Stars. So....All Star Movies is the last to be picked up and sometimes the bus is practically full before it even gets to you and you are also the last dropped off after a long day at the parks. My biggest complaint is that they do not have more buses running for the All-Stars. We have waited as long as 1 hour and 45 minutes to get back to our hotel after Wishes at MK!!!!! It was horrible! I am hoping that Pop Century will be better...I at least figure it can't be any worse. Maybe I shouldn't have said that! :worried:

We stayed at Pop twice last year and had ZERO problems with the bus service. We thought it was handled very well. About half the time the buses were standing room only though, and always in the mornings to the parks.

We stayed at Pop Century March 22-29, 2005. It was a very busy time and we never waited more than 10 minutes for a bus. We rented a car but never used it because the transportation was so good. Some of the bus drivers were so funny, they made the trip just great with their humor. :cool1:

Another positive experience with the bus service at Pop. We did have one bad isolated experience, but it had nothing to do with Pop. It was our first day and our first bus ride in August and the air conditioning was not working. I thought I was going to pass out. For the life of me I don't know why they continued driving this bus in the middle of August with no AC. It was the longest bus ride I have ever been on.

I am happy to report after that every bus was air conditioned and timely. We never waited more then 15 minutes for a bus. Keep in mind though coming back from the parks the Pop Century bus stop is the furtherest walk, but I found that to be no big deal.

We did not use the bus service alot, at Pop. Mostly to MK, and a couple of times to Epcot- Never had problems. Seemed very coordinated. My DH did stand most of the time, and the busses were full, but no huge problems.

As the previous post stated, the bus stops, to the all stars, and pop, are usually the farthest walk at the parks.

My friend and I loved POP! The only problems we had there were in the morning. We ended up taking a taxi a few days because they lines were very long! However, with that being said, we probably could've waited...we just wanted to see the mouse sooner! :)
