I didn't ask specific enough questions in my last post but thanks for those that tried to answer me without the specific questions. Here are some specific questions in terms of what I'm looking for. THANKS!

1. What moderates and values have the least amount of bus stops(within the resort.)
2. Do all moderates share buses? (I already know the deal with values sharing buses)
3. The Unofficial Guide lists travel times from the resort to the park using Disney transportation. In looking at that it looks like CSR's bus travel time is 5 or 6 min to Magic Kingdom while the other moderates are more like 12-15? Does this sound accurate? Looks like the Values are further out from MK and therefore the travel time from resort to MK is longer?
4. Moderates and AoA have covered bus stops but the all stars and pop do not? Correct?

1. What moderates and values have the least amount of bus stops(within the resort.)

Values only have 1 stop for the entire resort.

Mods
CBR - 7
CSR - 4 (There is a fifth bus stop but it's for Conventioners only)
FW Cabins - 9
POR - 4
POFQ - 1

2. Do all moderates share buses? (I already know the deal with values sharing buses)

POR and POFQ sometimes share during slower periods. CBR, CSR and FW do not share.

Sounds about right.

Correct.

Just an editorial note, if you are trying to choose a resort solely on the buses you may miss out on a great resort.

The All Star Movies, Music, and Sports, sometimes share bus... not always.
I think POP Century is the only resort that is not sharing with any resort and only has one bus stop. :)

csr by far has; definitely the best bus service on property never did we wait more than 5-10 minutes nor did we ever stand going or coming from any park. I'm guessing the reason for this is that c s r is a convention resort which most of those people don't always frequent the parks. Also as pp stated port orleans riverside has 4 stops on its property and some time shares with port orleans french quarter which has 1 stop.

But be forewarned coming back from fantasmic is by far the worst experience ever if you are staying at either poor orleans riverside or french quarter. it seemed.

As far as your #3 goes, the All Star Resorts are very close to CSR, so the travel times are not that much different between those resorts.

And for #4, there is another big difference between the value resort and moderate resort bus stops. The value resorts have actual lines you stand in at their bus stops, while the moderates do not.

Please don't pick your resort based on how great you expect the bus transportation to be. Because as sure as you do that, you will run into so huge issue with the buses that trip. Each and every resort has buses that don't seem to come as often as they should. No one resort has "the best' bus service, they all have good days and bad days.

That actually doesn't sound right to me. CSR would have to be pretty much right next to MK for the travel time to be 5 or 6 minutes and it's not; it's much closer to AK. The Passporter guide book gives a travel time of about 15 minutes from CSR to MK.

CSR only has 4 bus stops

Also, remember that the travel times at the Mods are from the last stop to the park. If you get on the bus at stop number one and then have to make 3 or 4 more stops to fill the bus, the travel time becomes much longer. The values only have one stop, so the times are much more accurate.

CSR only has 4 bus stops

Interesting, I have never stayed at CSR. The map shows these 5 stops:

El Centro
Monterrey Circle (Just found out this one is for Conventioners only)
Casitas
Ranchos
Cabanas

I dont know what Monterrey Circle is. But the other 4 are the bus stops.
Same here.. I remember 4 bus stops.
The front of the lobby
Casitas
Ranchos
Cabanas
Is Monterrey Circle was just added? Special bus for Conventions only?

That's not used for regular guests and/or park buses.

correct

Thanks for the info everyone. I don't like giving misinformation. :thumbsup2

2. Sometimes the All-Stars share busses and sometimes they don't. Sometimes the PO bus stops at both resorts, sometimes it doesn't.

3. Bus travel time is irrelevant. What would you rater do wait 30 minutes for a 5-6 minute ride, or wait 5 minutes for a 10 minute ride? It all balances out with the wait time and travel time. Some parks are closer and some are farther. Pop, CBR and PO are more centrally located on property

4. While All-Stars and Pop do not technically have covered bus stops, they are near the main building and there is a large overhang so you can be out of the weather/sun.

As others have said, I would not base my choice purely on what resort you may think has the best bus service. As many of us have found out, bus service is hit or miss at best.

I liked how you put it.. because it is true. It's irrelevant because one resort may be closer to one park, but far away from the others and the other resort may be closer to a different park, yet closer to another park. The Monorail Resorts are very close to MK, but too far from AK. CSR and ASR are very close to AK, yet so far from MK. I usually have a great experience bus service at ASMovies, and it's value resort. I've stayed at the Polynesian and there was a couple of times where the bus service wasn't great, and it's a deluxe resort. I would never base my stay on transportation because like the PP said the bus service is hit or miss at best. :)

I agree! One of the reasons that we choose CSR alot is because of the great bus service there.:rotfl: I go to WDW several times a year and mainly stay at one of the moderates, so have stayed at all four more than once. I've also stayed at Pop multiple times, AS Sports twice, AS Music once, AKL twice, WL, BW, and YC. By far CSR consistently has the best bus service. I just did my tenth stay at CSR this past May and as usual had great bus service. I've also done split stays CSR/POFQ, CSR/YC, CSR/AKL and every single time CSR had much better bus service than the second resort I stayed at.
