I know I took a cab from POP to the Poly and we had a van cab so I'm sure they have them.

Which hotel are you staying at?
If you are not staying at a MK resort you would have to take the bus from your hotel to the MK then take the boat to the Wilderness Lodge for WC. Then take a bus to Epcot or the monorail from the T&TC

You can get from any park (including water parks) to/from any hotel by direct bus.

You can get from a major park to another major park by direct bus (except MK/EC where it is monorail)

You cannot get between a major park and a water park directly. You will have to change at a hotel.

Basically you cannot get from one hotel to another by direct bus.

There are always exceptions, but rare. For example you can get a bus at Typhoon Lagoon that goes to Polynesian and Grand Floridian, but once Typhoon closes that bus doesn't run any more.

There are van cabs. We have never taken one, but other people have posted that they took a Yellow Cab wheelchair van. Here is a picture of the Yellow Cab wheelchair van that Andrew Bichard posted:

We have also never ridden the bus, but the Lynx is the local Orlando area bus company (this is a link to the Lynx schedule page. They have a stop at the TTC. People have posted that they used the Lynx wheelchair accessible bus to get from the TTC to places like Sea World and Universal.

Except you can get from AK to Typhoon Lagoon (it does stop at AKL first). Unless this has changed since Oct.

From your hotel to Whispering Canyon you can take the bus from your hotel to MK I believe, then take the boat from MK to Wilderness Lodge. From there you can get a bus to Epcot.

One night or two you may take the boat to Downtown Disney directly. Also, Boatwrights at POR is pretty good, accessible by boat. During DS park hours, you may bus to DS, then boat to Boardwalk.

AK to any resort, Epcot, and Studios: Direct Bus
AK to MK: Bus to TTC, monorail or ferryboat to MK

MK to any resort (with exception of Monorail resorts, and WL): Direct Bus
MK to monorail resorts: Monorail
MK to WL: Boat
MK to Epcot: Monorail/Ferryboat to TTC, Monorail to Epcot
MK to Studios: Monorail/Ferryboat to TTC, bus to Studios

MGM to any resort (with exception of S/D, Y/B and BW), AK, Epcot: Direct bus
MGM to MK: Bus to TTC, monorail or ferryboat to MK
MGM to S/D, Y/B and BW (and Epcot): Boat or walk

Epcot to any resort (with exception of S/D, Y/B and BW), AK, MGM: Direct Bus
Epcot to S/D, Y/B and BW (and Studios): Boat or walk
Epcot to MK: Monorail to TTC, Monorail or ferryboat to MK

DTD to any resort: Direct Bus
DTD to any park: Bus to resort, bus to park

Resort to Resort: Bus to any OPEN park, or DTD and then bus to resort

AK sometimes shares a bus with Blizzard Beach, DTD sometimes shares a bus with TL

so the way from port orleans to wl
is bus to mk tt
then boat to wl
and does the boat run late enuff to get back to tt and bus to po at like 9 or so pm

and is the boat wheelchair ok??

how big a boat?

scott

ps thanks for all the info

Might be easier to Bus to DTD and then Bus to WL. That way you don't have to worry about how late the boats run.

the boat is WL's main transportation to MK, so it would be running at least until a few hours after MK closes (same situation for the bus from MK to PO).

It's a big boat (sort of similar to the boat that goes between MK and TTC.
It is occasionally not wheelchair accessible because of changing water levels. if the boat is floating too high or too low compared to the dock, then a wheelchair can't be rolled right on (even with a portable ramp). That makes the boat not accessible for ECVs or power wheelchairs. If that is the case and your child can get out of his wheelchair, you can lift or have him step onto the boat and then lift the wheelchair on. (A power wheelchair may be too heavy, although 2 big guys have lifted my DD's power wheelchair up 2 steps once). When we stayed at WL, and ran into that problem, DH and I just each lifted a side of DD's manual wheelchair and lifted her onto the boat (she was about 12 or 13 years old, but is not that heavy).

That's a good idea - those DTD buses run really late compared to the park transportation.
