How do most people go from WDW to SeaWorld? Do you take a cab or is there a bus from DTD?

to my knowledge there is no direct bus from WDW to SeaWorld. You might however try contacting guest services at SW and ask tell them where you are staying and the best way to get there. They might have a shuttle service you can catch somewhere.

Lynx Bus 50 goes from WDW to Sea World. The stop is near the parking lots. Check out the Lynx website for schedules and the route map.

Lynx bus is the way to go and if I am not mistaken the ride cost $1.50 per person...

i see that the Lynx bus has stops at several WDW locations (each of the parks and DownTown Disney)

- do you know if any of the disney stops along the Lynx route has free parking? If i am going to pay $9 to park at a WDW location then pay for my bus trip i might as well just drive to SW and pay the $10 to park there.

I've only used the TTC stop...we took the resort bus to MK and then monorailed to TTC. I could be wrong, but someone told me that the DTD stop wasn't for the 'public' but for employees, but I could be mistaken.

We used Tiffany Towncar service and it was GREAT :thumbsup2

The ride cost us about $60 but was well worth it. We were picked up exactly on time in a very nice and clean towncar. We were then picked up and dropped back at our resort. If you can handle the extra bucks....go this route,

We take Mears shuttle service...$14 per person roundtrip. They picked us up at the food court of our hotel and dropped us off down from the main gate at Sea World. I am planning on using them again on our next trip!! I have used them several times and have never had a problem--I would highly recommend them... :goofy:

take the public bus "link 50" from TTC... takes 20 minutes. doesnt make any stops along the highway untill you get to seaworld. drops you off right at the gate and it's a quick walk... $1.50 each... can't beat that.

just google "golynx" to get the public transit website (since apparently i havent made enough posts to post a website address)

i've only used the $14 mears shuttle to get to universal because that takes too long using public transit. in my opinion, the "link 50" bus is suuuuuuuper easy and simple and it's no way worth it to pay $14 each to get to seaworld and back!!

we ask bell hop to call a taxi and mears showed up at office and picked us up and took us to the front gate at seaworld and charged us $20. for the four of us and he gave us his pager number and said half hour before we wanted to return to disney to call him and he would pick us up where he dropped us off we did and the return trip he charged us $15.00 and took us to our front door of the condo. it was well worth it.

   Thank you so much ,I have been asking this on so many threads and this is the most and best info! We are 5 , i 5 year old 2 adults and 2 11 yr olds . Would we fitin a cab or a town car or would we need 2 ? Did you call before or at the hotel We are staying at Pop. again thank you!!!!

Thanks so much for the public transport info, we would absolutely do it - Almost wish I was at Disney when we were going to SW - we will be at HRH - just found out though that 1 day pass at SW means 6 day pass - YAHOO - especially with free transfer from HRH to SW..

Okay so I've changed our plans - saved $250 by staying at POP one more day instead of HRH concierge for our SW day. I'm so pumped :cool1: So, now I'm onto the GoLynx!! idea. Checked out the website, when I tried their new trip planner it told me I had to make a bus transfer to get from DTD to SW. Route 50 shows as 50 DOWNTOWN ORLANDO/MAGIC KINGDOM - LYNX Central Station | Sea World | WDW Transportation & Ticket Center | Magic Kingdom Cast Bus Station | Disney University | - it looks like it works, have you done it? Boy I love saving money, maybe we can even dine with Shamu with the savings :dance3: :dance3: Thanks so much!

We did the Lynx bus route from POP to Seaworld a couple of times last year and really quite enjoyed it.

Took the Disney bus to MK then the ferry, just up from the bus stops, across to the TTC, through the TTC and round the back to the bus stops for the No. 50.

On one occasion we stayed for the Seaworld fireworks and so took a taxi back to POP from the taxi rank at the front entrance to Seaworld, cost about $20.

Alternatively for a slightly cheaper taxi ride you can take a taxi to Down Town Disney and then the Disney bus to POP.

:)
