Bus from Typhoon Lagoon to Magic Kingdom? And Typhoon Parking

Is there a direct bus from Typhoon Lagoon to Magic Kingdom offered during the day or would we need to transfer at Disney Springs? We are going to the DVC after hours event at Typhoon Lagoon this week and want to hit MK for a few hours before the event. Since the event is supposed to end at 11, I'm thinking the easiest thing to do is park at Typhoon for the day and then we can be on our way home quicker too. Is parking always free at Typhoon since we won't have day admission? Any better or alternative ideas are much appreciated!!

You are best to park your car at the TTC when you’re at the MK then move it to TL for the party. It will not be convenient to travel either direction. TL’s parking lot is not intended to be used to leave your car there when you are not at TL.

The only way to get from TL to the MK would be to take a bus to DS, from there take a bus to a resort and then take another bus from the resort to the MK.

Also there are never any buses that run for MK to TL and not even to DS currently.

Really? Couldn't take bus from TL to ANY resort, and then bus from that resort to MK? Or bus to MK resort and walk or boat to MK?

I agree it sounds like a waste of time (figure on at least an hour to 90 minutes to get from TL to MK, and probably the same back) to do that just to save the $25(?) in parking at TTC.

No buses go directly from TL to any resort now. They all make a stop at DS. The only time buses go directly from resorts to TL would be before DS opens in the morning.

And I agree it would be a waste of time to park at TL to save the parking fee at MK.

OP is going to DVC after hours event at TL. Good chance OP is either staying at.a Disney resort, or has an AP, and can park for free.

Exactly, so by parking at TL then traveling to MK and back again to TL via Disney transportation they'd be spending a whole lot of time waiting for and riding on buses. It's just easier to park at TTC, visit MK, then drive the car to TL. They'd have a lot more time to enjoy MK.
