Bus from Epcot to MGM

Yes, there is a bus from MGM to Epcot. There's also boat transportation available from MGM to Epcot's International Gateway via S&D, Y&BC and BW. The bus is faster (significantly), but the boat ride is more scenic.

If you're a big walker, you also can stroll between the two parks in about 30 minutes via a pathway through BW.

but I never knew there was a bus that went directly there, as well. I thought you had to get to the central transportation hub first and then do a connection from there to get to MGM from Epcot.

If you are saying there is a direct bus to MGM from Epcot could you please explain where you catch it. Please be more specific than to say where you catch all the buses for the resorts.

There is no bus from Epcot to MGM. You can take the boat to MGM or you can walk but there is no bus. If you are in Future World and do not want to walk to the International Gateway, you can take the monorail to the TTC and take the bus to MGM.

The Bus leaves from the first set of Bus Stops, closest to the Monorail Station along with the Animal Kingdom Bus.

Yes, there are buses (or other methods) between all the parks.
That's how guests can PARK HOP.

Here are the "park-to-park" direct connections:

MK/TTC> Epcot = Monorail
MK/TTC> MGM = Bus
MK/TTC> AK= Bus

AK> MGM= Direct Bus
AK> Epcot= Direct Bus
AK> TTC/MK= Bus

MGM> AK= Direct Bus
MGM> Epcot= Direct Bus (Epcot Front Gate) or Boat (Epcot Intl. Gateway)
MGM> TTC/MK= Bus

Epcot> MGM= Direct Bus (Epcot Front Gate) or Boat (Epcot Intl. Gateway)
Epcot > TTC/MK= Monorail
Epcot > AK= Direct Bus

The buses have their destinations shown on them on a illuminated signs.
The bus stops are also marked with signage.

The above link will give you approximate travel times.
And I have found that these times are a bit over-stated.
On many days, you can make the trip much faster than stated.

Last time we were there we took a bus from Epcot to MGM. We park hopped the whole time using the bus system between the parks.

A few years ago when the only thrill ride Epcot had was Test Track broke down and the Cast Members did not know when it would be fixed by, my Dad and I left Epcot since that was our main reason for even going at the time and took a bus from there to MGM.

Well when you want to go from another park to the Magic Kingdom, only in that situation you would ride a bus to the TTC and then take the Express Monorail or the boat when going to the Magic Kingdom.
