Bus from Epcot to Animal Kingdom

We will be staying at Boardwalk Villas this weekend. What is the best way to get to Animal Kingdom from Epcot? Do we need to return to BWV to catch a bus or can we go directly from Epcot? We will not have a car. Thank you.

I know for a fact that you can catch a bus from EPCOT to AK or to any of the other parks so if you didn't want to go back to your resort you don't have to.

You can take a bus from Epcot to the AK and MGM. You can take the monorail to the TTC and transfer to the MK monorail. to get to MK.
