I was hoping this wasn't our own Magicbus. On the main page there's a story about a man alla jadeebee raul towelhead that thought since he had a baby they should be put on a bus that was too full. You gotta see this video. I would have loved to have been on that bus.

I didn't see it in the video, but I read that he actually THREW his kid/baby at the bus driver?!?!

Stupid people are stupid. Sheesh, you're on vacation, calm down.

Well, they thought they were so important it looks like they got their wish. Hope it is true. :thumbsup2

I seriously doubt I would have just stood around and watched. I'm fairly positive I would have helped the Bus Driver out.

I work for bus operations and the entire incident was caught on the security cameras.Every load zone has a high def camera that sees the bus and load zone. We can actually zoom in with the cameras and read the drivers name and his hometown on his name tag on their uniform. Also in the video one of the gentleman on the bus,{I wont identify him} was one of our plain clothes security officers and was in the load zone at the time and witnessed the attack. Security was called along with the OCSO,and yes it took them a few minutes to get to him. This was because the bus was in load zone C7 which is in the charter bus lot and away from the regular Resort load zones near the entrance to Hollywood Studios. If you watch the video closely you will see flashing red and blue lights illuminating the side off the bus. When the wife saw them pull up the wife took off,and tried to hide in the crowd, and left her child with the husband. Other guests identified her to security. They were then removed from the bus and load zone and taken backstage. The gentleman was then arrested and handcuffed for assault on the driver. He is also facing charges for Terrorist threat due to the assault happening on the bus, and public endangerment. They were also ejected from the resort they were staying at,and trespassed from Walt Disney World property. They will not be returning to the Happiest Place on Earth ever again. Also everyone will be happy to hear the driver was not reprimanded for the incident, and continued with his job that evening. I actually saw and talked to him last night and he is doing fine.
Also forgot to add copy of the security tape was provided to the OCSO,they are in turn forwarding it to the state attorney for possible further charges of Felony child neglect and endangerment.

I like to think most of The Fort folks would have stood up for the bus driver. Too bad he didn't seem to have much support.

If I had been there the last thing that bus driver would have had to worry about was Hadji. I can't believe after people watched him sling the kid they didn't wale on this guy.

I hear ya. If I saw some guy sling a kid they'd be digging my arm out of his throat! :thumbsup2

I remember when Hadji, I think that was his name, was a good kid on a show that if I remember corectly was called Johnny Quest. I use to like that show. Whooda thunk it that he would have grown up to be a moron. I am sure Johnny is disappointed in his childhood friend also.

To paraphrase Stan on South Park (for the family-friendly audience)...

That's some 'messed up stuff' right there. :sad2:

What an idiot! Does he realize the amount of children at Disney? He should get priority because he has one? Obviously he had been at the parks too long and stressed himself out. Doesn't he know to just go with the flow. Man, stupidity just amazes me. I'm sorry, but the wife is just as stupid for her not to do something when he threw the kid at the bus driver. I would have been all over both of them.

The wussification (really wanted to use a different word here) of people these days never ceases to amaze me. I don't see how an able bodied person could have just stood by and watched.

Most likly, a man with a temper like that is just a violent person and you can bet is the same at home. She is probably terrified of him.

I agree completely. Glad to hear that several cameras picked up on the whole incident and that they were thrown out. Morons! I swear, some people have such a sense of entitlement. I'd rather wait for the next bus and get a seat than end up standing on a crowded bus. Then again if they had gotten on that bus I'm sure he would have insisted that people get up and let them sit because after all "they had a child with them". I feel badly for that child - his father is an abusive idiot and who knows what is up with his mother. I'm glad the bus driver isn't hurt and that mgmt. knows it wasn't his fault.

That is CRAZY!! I think the law would be the LEAST of my DH's worries if he "threw" one of my kids. Pretty sure DH would be BEGGING the po po to take him away - he'd be much better off with them than with me.

I am with you on that one and better be begging for max security too!

Looks like an angry man. I would guess that the wife and child have been down this road before. Hopefully, this time they will ALL get some help.
Someone, has to be the voice for that baby.

All I can say is that the bus driver practiced good restraint.

If someone had put their hands around my throat, he would be waking up in a hospital later.

It would be nice, if he was not a resident, that they would deport him also. But with our lenient, liberal translation of immigration & visa laws, he would probably have had to kill the bus driver before they would even consider it.

ITA! Social mores are no longer observed by a large number of people - the overwhelming selfish attitude displayed by people in stressful situations like this is becoming more and more common. A large part of the problem is our collective unwillingness to confront these takers/bullies and holding them to a higher standard of conduct.

When we were at Disney last June, a teenage girl was shoving herself past people at the bus loading line line because, as she said, "I'm tired and I'm getting on that bus first!" and none of the people she passed said a word to her. Not one. You can be sure that girl was absolutely not going to get past me in line that day because I *will* call people on their crap at Disney, in the grocery store, at the deli counter or wherever bullies like to shove people around.

The guy in the bus attack is a bully and I'm so glad he was banned from Disney for life!
