Bus driver had lead foot!

This summer we stayed at the BCV and CBR and had a great time. One thing though...on our way back from MK (around 9 pm) our bus driver couldn't get the bus to move. She played around with the gears and kept trying and trying. It took her probably 15 minutes to finally get it to move from the bus stop. Well that was not so bad. I guess she decided that she had to make up time. She drove so fast that things outside were a blur...I've been to WDW over 25 times and this has never happened. She really had me nervous. Other people on the bus were making comments about her reckless driving. She also missed a turn and had to turn around. I think she even clipped a curb! I was never so happy to get back to our resort! I was so angry and fully intended to report her driving and should have but by the next day I just went to the parks and didn't do it. Has anyone had a similar circumstance?

Yes, we experienced the same situation after a EMH at MK while staying at YC with a male driver. I did report him as soon as I got back and I encourage you to do the same. Our driver was going so fast, that everytime we passed a moving car or another bus it seemed as if they were standing still.... :confused3 This is a dangerous situation that must be reported in order to avoid a tragedy in the future. :furious:

Not to doubt your experience by any means, but when aboard a bus, things seem faster than they often are.

When I was a Disney bus driver, I would pass cars and buses all the time... but yet, I never exceeded the speed limit. The other vehicles were just doing 10+ mph below the speed limit (a common occurrance)

I should have called someone that night but figured that I would do so in the morning. It's been a couple months now and the details are kind of sketchy but if this ever happens again I will definetly call to report the incident. You're right...we need to report this kind of unsafe driving.

Chip n Dale...you wouldn't believe how fast she was driving! I've been a passenger on many WDW busses. It was unbelievable!

The closest experience I had to yours was the bus driver and a passenger verbally fighting. We were in Downtown Disney, late at night, and no buses from Port Orleans showed up for over an hour. The angry male passenger, after we loaded, started chastising the driver for the lack of buses (especially because we left behind a huge line of folks waiting--and it was cold that night!!). The bus driver and the passenger became more and more angry with each other, to the point where children were beginning to cry. I should have reported it, but I was so tired by the time we got back to the resort, I promptly forgot about it until a few days later.
