Bus crash at Disney today

Yep serious. Doesnt look good on DIsney after the monorail and the earlier bus crash just 2 weeks before the monorail crash.

I was expecting to come on Dis and see posts about this everywhere. I've been on 3 different boards and this is the first mention i've seen of it.

Posts like this belong either on the Transportation Board or on the News Board. Typically the News Board... in this case, it didn't happen on a hotel property so it's not a fit on the Resorts board really.

Regardless.. I'll be moving this one to the News Board.

One thing to keep in mind.. Disney buses cover millions of accident free miles every year. But occasionally an accident does happen. This is not something that should be a point of worry for anyone.

Thanks,

They just talked about this on the news. This is why I will never stand on a bus. I hope all those involved will be all right. :sad1:

its unfortionate to say as it sounds like he's the only one seriously injured but it sounds like its clearly the disney bus drivers fault. I dont see how Disney can be to blame at all for this one assuming the Disney bus didnt have mechanical problems.

Don't worry. If the Orlando Sentinel can find ANY way to blame the WDW Company, they will....

You mean, Don't worry...If Disney can find ANY way to blame the victim, they will!
(Disney is all about money; not people)

Sadly I am starting to believe they are only all about money and not people - the parks are dirty, crowded, and the employees that used to be the happiest people on earth are tired and cranky (and I don't blame them I would be too) - not so magical anymore. It broke my heart to tell my kids last Wednesday to enjoy the next three days because that will be it for a while - and these are kids that are 12 and 8 and have been to Disney 17 times - but they feel the same way I do right now - it definitely was not as much fun this time.

Maybe it's just me, but in 50+ trips over the last 25 years, I haven't seen any decline in the cleanliness or service at Disney. In fact, I think they are constantly trying to improve and update the parks and resorts to increase customer satisfaction and the overall enjoyment of the guests.
