Bus Back to Resort Timing

We leave Tuesday!!!!!!!

We are staying at POR and are usung the buses. Working on finalizing my plans.

What is a good guestimate for time to get from the parks back to POR mid-day (between 1-2pm)? We are just doing mornings in the parks before nap, but trying to figure out what time to leave to avoid overtired meltdowns?

I've stood waiting for a bus at that time for as long as 30 minutes.

So I'd leave with that time in mind. The ride back to the resort itself is maybe 15 - 20 minutes.

Forgot to mention that sometimes the POR buses share with POFQ in the afternoon. And then you've got the time for going around the resort to your bus stop.

It's so hard to figure out times when there is multiple bus stops. Maybe leave an hour to an hour and a half before you know the meltdown will start?

It is a longer wait once the morning "rush" slows down. That being said, unless you just miss a bus, the longest we've waited is about 30 minutes (which is not fun if you are already "mid-meltdown", I know!). If you can gauge what time you think you'll need to make your getaway from prior experience, you may be able to get a head-start on your exit strategy, but timing the buses is pretty much a guessing game. Budget an hour from when you walk out the gates to being in your room. That should be worst case.
