Burning CDs/DVDs in parks???

Is there a place in each park where I can leave a digital camera memory card and have the contents uploaded onto a CD and/or DVD? I have two 1G cards which will each hold 680 photos at highest resolution (6.3 MP), plus one 256 MB card that holds 169 pics. I'm not worried that I'll take more than 1530 photos in a week, but I'm sure I'll use the same camera to take some video, and that will chew up memory space -- total among the three cards I'll have 42 minutes of video capacity. So in other words, I may need to dump some of it onto a disk.

So can I do this in the parks? And if so, where, and how does it work?

And just FYI, I won't have access to the outside world, so if it's not at a park or my resort then it really won't exist while I'm happily inside the Disney cocoon.

THANKS!!

We leave tomorrow -- FINALLY! :Pinkbounc

Yes, there is a place to leave your memory card and have them put all of your pictures from your memory card to a disc. I did it in MGM. Its right on the Main Street ( Hollywood Blvd) and its called The Darkroom.

In Magic Kingdom, It would be at The Camera Center in Exposition Hall right as you walk under the train station, to the right.

In Epcot, Its right across from Spaceship Earth in the entrance plaza area. Its called The Camera Center too.

Animal Kingdom, Im not so sure about..

Just grab another card before you go. There is no way to burn to DVD, you can only burn to CD, and I believe they limit it to 100 pics/CD. It's like $15/each CD. It's just not worth it. For the price of a couple of those CDs you can just get another card you'll have forever.

The price for new memory cards isn't much (if at all) more than what Disney charges for burning a CD. Plus, to get the CD burned you have to go once to drop off the card, then again to pick it up.

Suggest you buy more cards.

Is it an SD card?

www.pricewatch.com is a site that sellers list items and you choose who to buy from. Much cheaper than most retail. If you have a laptop it is worth taking on the plane to download your photo's everynight.

If not I am sure resorts have pc's for guest use. Just upload all of your pictures and video to one of the free photo storage sites every couple of days. Would that work? Then download them when you get home.

I found a liquidation (SP?) store on ebay and got 10 512mb cards for 11 bucks. That is another option. You can find really cheap cards all over ebay. If you don't mind hauling them around.
