saw a preview last night and it is really good - especially if you are going for the dance numbers!

The dance numbers are amazing and there are plenty!!!!

Cher is Cher and Stanley Tucci is a blast. Their scenes are the bright spot in the otherwise "meh" storyline.

Christina is better than expected acting wise and Gigandet (Sp?) is so gorgeous. Even if you aren't thrilled with the love story line, it is nice to just watch him the whole time (or her if you choose).

Kristen Bell is good, though I wanted to dislike her more than I think is intended. Julianne Hough is great. Alan Cumming is classic Alan Cumming - love him.

Dianna Agron is in it, but if you blink you practically miss her - very small part near the end.

The scenery and over all mood of the club scenes are engrossing.

I would very much recommend for those who like the stars and this type of film!!!! I got free passes, but would have happily paid to see it!

I love Cher. I didn't realize Allen Cumming and Julianne Hough are in it, love them too. My mom misses her so much on DWTS, she'll be excited to hear it.

I took my 13 DD. It was sexy. It is burlesque. There is a typical fan dance, but I think you see less of the girls than of Gigandet (he is in various stages of dress being funny for Christina's character and you see his his but - I would say more but don't want to ruin a cute scene). There is implied sex in the acts on stage - again, typical burlesque. The actual love scenes are not shown. Tons of suggestive stuff. It depends on how much you let her see normally and how mature she is, but I didn't have a problem with my DD seeing it.

yeah, my opinion is that Glee is a little much for TV!!!

My dd and I did see this today. We LOVED it!!!!!!!!!!!! I completely agree with everything you said here. Even though the only place I knew Cam from was The OC, and he was evil in that show, he looks mighty fine with eyeliner and that hat!!
I have already downloaded the soundtrack and listened to it, LOVE IT!!!!

I saw it with a friend yesterday and we both loved it. I must take DH. He usually doesn't go for musicals but liked Moulin Rouge so I know he will love this. Scantily clad females, what is not to like for a guy?

As for a teen I think it would depend on the maturity of said teen.
