Day Three-Sunday10/7
After a late night at MK, we decided to sleep in a little today. It is a hot partly cloudy day, and we all head for Typhoon Lagoon. This is my favorite water park, I like it much better than Blizzard Beach. We are there 10 minutes before it opens and stand on the bridge awaitng the rope drop. We head right to the wave pool and stake out some chairs. The sun decides to be nice to us today and peaks through the clouds the entire time we are there.
My husband takes the girls to the kiddie area, while baby, me and sisters do the lazy river.
Unforunatley we forgot the babies diaper bag at that hotel and I only had one pacifer on me. well the baby decides to drop it somewhere between our seats and in the river. So my family spent about a half an hour trying to find it ! Luckliy we did!!
We also have a blast in that tidal wave pool. We were all trying different staregies for not getting swept away by it!
We get some luch there ($7 hot dogs!) and the kids meals come in beach pails. So they enjoyed playing on the sand with them. We did the family raft ride which is a blast.
Around 3pm we decide to head back to the hotel, first stopping by TL shop to see the pictures they took of us on the lazy river and family raft. They were great shots, so we spent $50 to buy them. Oh well its vacation.
Back to WL to change and we head for Epcot world showcase. I had bought the kids passports so we headed to each country to get them stamped. Each country had a person form that country and they would sign their passports with a message in their native language. Also at these stations theu had places for the kids to make a mask and "dreams" for the tapestry parade. Unforuntatly it was so windy today (and the rest of the week as well) that the tapestry was cancelled. Oh well.
While in Morroco my husband takes to the kids to the kid stationa nd my sisters and I sit by the fountain to take a break. All of the sudden we hear drums and the Morrocon acrobats come out. They were amazing! At the end of their performance, one tumbles right up to my 8 yar and messes her hair. She was so embarrassed but we loved it! The UK palace guards were hilarious too! Watching them follow people around and be silly!
We have PS at L'Originale Alfredos, and my little guy decides that this is a great time to start whining. He is too obnixious to keep in the restuarant so we take turns sitting with outside.
As far as the food, it was okay. We went there in 1996 and loved it, but this time it just seemed way too much money for noodles and sauce. No salad and water cost $5. My tiramisu was good though.
We head over to China and claim a spot for Illuminations. That was a great show. I had tears in my eyes listenting to its message. I wishing there wasnt so much conflict in our world.
The night before at Spectromagic we had meet a family who told us about the secret that Test track stays open until 10pm (not 9pm when the park closes). So we run over there and get to ride it twice with no lines. That ride is a blast!!
Take our exhausted kids back to WL to hit the hay.
Day 4-Animal Kingdom and Hoop Dee Doo.
