Now that I'm down to 2 weeks before my window opens, I'm seeing that I have a LOT of high end choices. What are some options for just a solid average evening choice? Perhaps a good burger or plate of pasta. Not every night needs a steak!

  • Mama Melrose and Sci-Fi Dine-In are both perfectly fine for casual Italian & burgers at DHS.
  • Plaza Restaurant has different handheld options and ice cream, sounds like it could be a great place for you to enjoy dinner during your Magic Kingdom day.
  • Disney Springs has a ton of options for you. Splitsville & Planet Hollywood Observatory sound like they may be the most aligned with what you're looking for, but Homecomin' also has some more casual (and delicious!) southern comfort food and Raglan Road is a lot of fun.
  • Via Napoli in Epcot is still what I recommend most to people who want something more casual at Epcot, you can share a pretty good pizza here. If you're more into chips and guac, La Cantina de San Angel will serve no-fuss tacos and other Mexican dishes.
  • Animal Kingdom will be a bit more of a challenge in this department. Yak & Yeti is not necessarily all burgers and pasta but should have something for everyone in your party, plus it's one of my favorite restaurants in the Parks. Rainforest Cafe will definitely have what you're looking for.
  • If you don't mind traveling to a resort, Steakhouse 71 might have "steakhouse" in the name but serves one of the best burgers in Walt Disney World!

You can get a decent burger at Geyser Point with a boat ride thrown in from MK at Wilderness Lodge.

At HS, there is Rosie’s American Kitchen for a burger with real tomatoes, onions and lettuce.

Disney Springs has Blaze and Splitsville to keep some money in your wallet.

DH is the burger connoisseur in our family, and D-Luxe Burger in DS is an every-trip requirement.

I think Ale & Compass at the Yacht Club resort has one of the best burgers on property (it's also available in their lounge).

The in-park burgers usually aren't that good. D-Luxe Burger at Disney Springs is great!
