Burger Minus The Fries?

CAN YOU ORDER THE BURGER WITHOUT THE FRIES AT COUNTER RESTAURANTS? HOW MUCH CAN YOU SAVE WITHOUT THE FRIES?
MY KIDS ARE NOT BIG FRY EATERS, AND MY HUSBAND AND I USUALLY SHARE A FRY.

I'm not 100% sure about it, but I would assume you could order a burger just a lacarte!?!? If you don't like fries a lot of quick service places like Pecos Bills and Cosmic Rays give you the option of fries or carrots. I'm with you and am not a big fry eater. The carrots are those baby carrots in an individual pacakge. I hope this helps

Yes, you can order them without fries. They don't have it on the menu, you have to ask. I'm not sure about how much it costs.

It is around $1 less per order. I was so glad when someone told me this. With it being just myself, my mom, and my 5 y/o DD we had too many fries between us! The only big french fry eater is DD so we would get hers with fries and ours without. We still ended up with more fries then we needed. For years I always got it the regular way and ended up dumping all those fries in the trash.

The counter-serve places we went to all gave the option of fries or mini-carrots.

skiwee1 is correct. We learned this years ago and have saved the lives of hundreds of potatoes as a result .

One order of fries is more than enough for 2 and plenty for the 3 of us. Saves a couple of dollars each meal, avoids wasting food and keeps us from overeating just because its there and we've paid for it.

I started doing this the last couple of trips, rather than the fries or carrots. The receipt said they subtracted around $1.70. I really like the WDW fries but it does get to be too much after awhile!

Hi there,

Yes. Most counter service foods can certainly be ordered seperate instead of as a meal.

I do this once in a while when I'm not that hungry or when I want something else, instead of fries.

Absolutely. We generally share one order between me, my wife and our daughter (who just turned 9 today).

we do this too at the sit-down restaurants with all the kids meals. My kids don't eat the fries - they give us an option of chips or fries. If we don't get the fries they subtract around $1 for it. Otherwise they give us chips.

At one of the local places in Austin, I can replace steamed green beans for fries...wish I could do this everywhere!!! So much better than fries!
