They closed my area BK. But when I went there, I kinda sorta got it my way. I'd order my burgers sans ketchup. For some reason, they decided no ketchup means no mustard too. I love mustard. I'd forget everytime I ordered a burger from there that they'd leave my mustard off too.

I usually take it as it is, because I forget to be picky. Then I take the onions off. DH used to order it with one slight modification (can't remember what it was) in order to make sure it was made fresh instead of sitting out for a half hour... Now we are too lazy to wait..

I used to work in a BK and special orders sisn't bother me. I don't like any of the sauces (except ketchup) so mine is usually a special order. The worst one I got once was fries without salt. We had to empty one of the fry racks, wash and dry it and then put some more fries on to cook!

I TRY to "have it my way." Whether or not it comes to me as I ordered it is another story.

Mustard, pickle and onion only.

We didn't eat out much growing up, and until I was 18 I just ate things as they were served. If I didn't like something "as is," I simply wouldn't order it or (in the case of pizza toppings I didn't care for) pick off whatever I didn't like.

Cheeseburger plain, please! But I've lost my appetite for BK, etc. I eat them when we're traveling, obviously (the kitties don't appreciate us doing anything but fast food!), but other than that, I'm not interested.

I always have it MY way. I either get:

Cheeseburger with extra cheese and ketchup only
or
Chicken sandwich with cheese and mayo only
or
Whopper with cheese, NO pickles, onions or tomatoes.

I worked at BK for 7 yrs and never minded special orders.
I wish they'd bring back the veal parmesan sandwich- it was soo good.
