Burger Comparison

Hi everyone less than a month away from my make up trip with my mom. I like a good burger, and want to know who has the best burger in the park, specifically the ka chow cheesburger at Flo's. The Red rose tavern burgers or the hungry bear. What do u like about the burgers or are they pretty much all the same? Thanks for the help

The only one I've tried from your list is from Hungry Bear. It was certainly nothing special. I have eaten at Flo's and it was good (but I haven't had a burger there). I've never had what I would qualify as a "really good" burger at the parks.

I mean, the burgers are generally the same from place to place (and none are amazing)... It probably comes down to what kind of extras you might want or if one place or another has a special offering that appeals to you. Other options include Smokejumpers (they do have a decent 'fixins' bar where you can add your preferred mix of toppings and condiments) and Galactic Grill...

We generally do not eat the burgers in the parks. The burger we had at Black Tap in DTD was AMAZING! Even my pickiest of picky DH loved it. LOL. I would go there again. Maybe worth checking out?

I plan to try that place on our trip next May (I'll admit though that I am mostly interested in trying one of the insane milkshakes lol).

Shakes are yummy! We just got a regular shake this time and it was yummy as well. The crazy shakes are good, but really difficult to eat! LOL. But I guess that is part of the fun! They also have a shake only window if you don't want to wait for the restaurant. I believe the window doesn't have as many options to choose from as dining inside though.

Have to agree with the others. There doesn't seem to be a really great burger in the parks.

I don't love any of the quick service burgers in the park. They're all the same and not that good. Now I do enjoy the burgers at Carnation Cafe and Carthay Circle.

I think I am going to mark this a place to try. My oldest is a burger fan and I think this would be a fun place. No sense in getting a crap burger in the park when there is a good one outside the door.

Yeah, we are planning on going back next trip! We tried the pizza burger and it was delicious!

Seconding this. One of the best burgers I've had inside the park has been the one I can dress up myself at Smokejumpers. Soooo good but still so basic if you want it to be that way.

Before it was Smokejumpers it was Taste Pilot and they had the Wild Blue Yonder which was a burger with Blue Cheese and BBQ sauce. Great. Not offered now. When I go to Habit Burger near home I sometimes bring my own Blue cheese and add their A-1 Sauce to it

I’ve had two good burgers inside the parks. The sourdough bacon cheese melt at the Carnation Cafe (so good I get it almost every trip) and the burger at Carthay Circle (only served at lunch I think).

We haven't tried any of the burgers on your list. But our favorite burgers at DLR are: Burger and fries at CCR (lunch only), Burger at S55 (lounge), Burger at UVA Bar (they have a monthly special -- check what it is when you visit), Carnation Cafe ordered with a side of chili to make our own chili burger and chili fries.

I do have a lunch reservation at the carnation cafe so i ll have to try the sourdough bacon melt. Wonder if anyone has had the beast burger at the red rose tavern?
