Hi. Looking at rooms for 2017 and we must have two separate beds for the kids who will be 18 and 15. Not keen on OKW in a one bed again as although the accommodation is perfect I don't like the resort much. So how big are the bunk beds at AKL and Wilderness Lodge? How about the day bed at the Poly? I know the largest size day bed at Beach Club is not big enough as we have stayed there.

From what I can find on the resort threads none of the bunk beds are really suitable for kids over 13, the new day beds in BCR are double sleeper sofas when they fold out which may be better. Some of the deluxe resorts are putting the sofa beds in however the sizes may vary and numbers of rooms within those resorts with them will be limited. Try looking through the resorts threads for more info.
I know it's not ideal but maybe if it doesn't break any fire hazard regulations you could ask for a roll away bed or take an air bed .

You are a family of adults so maybe 2 rooms

Or look at a villa or condo a short distance away from parks.

Maybe think of renting a car and seeing more of Florida .... well the young adults are 18 & 15 .. maybe Kennedy Space Center

An Airboat trip, ........ Busch Gardens Theme Park just over an hours drive away near Tampa.
