Bungee Cord Question

We will be cruising in connecting rooms for the first time this year. I have read that you should bring bungee cords to keep the doors open. I am just not sure if you need to bring 1 cord or more than 1 and how exactly it works. Any specific instructions would be helpful. Thank you!!!

First time I'm hearing about the bungee cord room hack. I would imagine that your stateroom host has door stops that will keep the connecting door open between your cabins.

I agree...do not use bungee cords because they will damage the door and/or furniture you attach them to.

Although, I believe I read not too long ago that DCL has put magnetic catches on the connecting doors to hold them open.

Could be. There were not on the Magic in 2017 - my parents and I used the trash cans during the day and closed the doors at night.

The Fantasy has magnets on the doors to keep them open.

On Magic we just brought 2 cheap rubber door stops that we bought from Walmart and tossed in our suitcase. Worked like a charm.
