When my daughter turned 4, she had a Little Mermaid birthday party. "Ariel" came and sang and made plastic animal balloons.

When we went to Disney's California Adventure, we saw Ariel and took pictures with her. My daughter said to her, "Remember, you went to my birthday party?"

I held my breath to see what Ariel would say. Smoothly, she replied, "Oh, yes, I almost did not recognize you! And I had so much fun at your party!" ;)

My cousin said in Disneyworld she overheard a little girl reminding Cinderella about her birthday party, too. And Cinderella had a similar response, about almost not recognizing her.

Bless those princesses' hearts. Disney sure thinks of everything. princess:

Last October, my daughter blew a kiss at Snow White during the MGM parade. Snow White blew a kiss back! How exciting!!

Well, the next morning we had breakfast at the castle. When Snow White came by, my daughter asked if she remembered her from the previous day when they blew kisses at each other during the parade. The CM never missed a beat, she said that she of course remembered Katie and told her to watch for her in the parade that day.

Those guys are really wonderful!

We have another version... we had seen Cinderella at Toontown and my girls told her that we'd be having lunch at the castle with her. When we got to CRT, it was the same one and she remembered my girls! (Without prompting, she said, "oh there you are, I've been looking for you"). I was impressed.

Surfgirl, we had something like that, but with a villian. About three years ago, my husband and son were off riding thrill rides in MK. My daughter, who was about three, and I were shopping on main street. In the photo shop, we met Cruella. We took a picture, and then asked to have both autograph books signed. Cruella asked why two, and my daughter said the other was for her brother.

About 5 hours later we met the same Cruella at the villians meet and greet (told you this was a while ago). She not only remembered my daughter's name, but called my son by name as well.

WOW!! Sometimes I can't even remember their names! :confused3

At the end of Storytime with Belle, after getting my autograph, Belle had asked if I've visited before. I don't know whether the CM actually remembered me or what, but it was a pleasant surprise.

Then again, with my personality, I'm not too hard to forget.

One morning we met Cinderella at the castle. She had a conversation with my daughter about a pin on my dd's sweater. That afternoon we saw her in the parade. She remembered us, and asked from her float where the pin was. We had taken the sweater off. I thought that was remarkable. :cool1:

We had 2 experiences like this. My DS2 loved the princesses more than we thought he would. We went to the PSL and met Ariel for photos. She left a big kiss on his cheek and spent lots of time with both him and DD4. When we went to the Ariel's Grotto in MK 2 days later, she remembered them and told them she was so glad to see them again and hoped they had a great lunch with her princess friends!
Our second experience was magical to my DD. We went to the Perfectly Princess Tea Party at the Grand Floridian. Rose Petal is the hostess and she was lots of fun. My sister and I took my daughter and then we met everyone else at the MK. It was time for the parade and the people from Main Street USA were entertaining. My sister pointed at one CM and said I think that is Rose Petal. She no sooner said that and the CM came right up to my DD and said "I know YOU! You're friends with Princess Aurora! She told me to look for you here today!" My DD's face lit up and it was lots of fun for all of us! I love to see how wonderful the CMs are to children! :goodvibes

this is all part of the magic of Disney world. maybe some day we will experience something like that too. although I admit we have our own special memories with other CMs

I have one! Last Oct I had lunch at Akershus, then a few days later lunch at CRT, Belle recognized me, and that made me feel really giddy.

We had breakfast at Princess Storybook Breakfast in Epcot one morning. My DD (then 6) told Belle how she'd learned to read since she had last visited WDW when she was 4. Of course, Belle engaged her in conversation about her favorite book. Well, in the late afternoon of that same day, we went to France in search of Belle & Beast together. When we found them, Belle asked DD if she'd had a fun day since breakfast that morning. And then she continued to discuss books w/ DD. I was surprised that Belle remembered DD, but DD wasn't. It was priceless! I so appreciate the CMs who work so hard to make such magical memories for us guests.
