When my daughter turned 4, she had a Little Mermaid birthday party. "Ariel" came and sang and made plastic animal balloons.
When we went to Disney's California Adventure, we saw Ariel and took pictures with her. My daughter said to her, "Remember, you went to my birthday party?"
I held my breath to see what Ariel would say. Smoothly, she replied, "Oh, yes, I almost did not recognize you! And I had so much fun at your party!"
My cousin said in Disneyworld she overheard a little girl reminding Cinderella about her birthday party, too. And Cinderella had a similar response, about almost not recognizing her.
Bless those princesses' hearts. Disney sure thinks of everything.
