Bump?!?

Hi all,

The newbie Diser needs to know what "Bump" means...I've seen it posted throughout the boards here and I just can't figure out what that means.

I am doing good with the abbreviations for everything!

People use "bump" when they want their thread to go to the top of the board so people can read it and answer it!

When a thread/question doesn't get responses for a while, it will fall to the 4th or 5th pages etc. Before too long, it goes off into oblivion and lost forever. Often the 'search function' doesn't work well, so folks will give the thread a 'bump' back to the first page, to give folks who haven't seen the thread, an opportunity to view or respond to it. Many authors of the thread will go back and respond again to get their thread going again.....or they may merely type 'bump' to get it back to the top of page one....

Now, if someone wants to help me figure out a Glitter signature...I'd be much obliged... I can't even figure out how to get my hometown on here....much less a fancy avatar.

Nope I guess I am as i the dark as you on how to do the glitter thing. I am so sorry.

did the color and font... then when the letters came up I just right clicked on them and copied the location , then went up to the top of my post... clicked on the yellow box with the mountain and put the location addy there and it put it in my post.

well I just copied ( right clicked on the object and copied the location, but man I wanted to add text. I am sorry guess I was no help .
