Bump on board day 1 - travel

Had a very very stressful morning. Got up early to pack only to find our suitcase zip was broke so we had to borrow some cases. Then dh lost our euros 900 of them! After an hour we found them but he then had lost my European health card.

We finally left home by taxi to get our coach to London. We forgot our pushchair bought specifically for our trip! The coach to London was horrendous . It was so dirty and smelly. The driver was very aggressive in his driving and we were thrown about.

We arrived at victoria cusch station 6.30pm. We struggled up get a taxi to take us to our hotel, novotel st pancras as the pope was there so roads were closed. It cost us double as we had to go the long route. Although on a plus we did see WEstminster ABbey, Big Ben and London Eye.

The hotel is lovely very clean, comfy and modern. Free tea coffee etc. Minibar is 2.50 a can of soft drink !! Bathroom is very posh with hair dryer. Room has a safe, iron, ironing board and travel press and freeview. It is a 2min walk with a toddler to the station so perfect

Oh dear....well, it can only get better from here on!
