Bummer - OKW Sandcastle pool closed for refurb during our Jan stay

Got a letter today from OKW stating that the Sandcastle pool and slide will be closed during our stay - first two weeks of January. So weird because we were just saying over this past weekend that the last time we stayed at OKW we didn't spend any time hanging out by the pool, and wanted to this time.

The quiet pool at OKW will still be open and we are also invited to use the Saratoga Springs pool, but who knows if it will even be warm enough to swim in Jan. I am just hoping there isn't a lot of noise/construction walls up near Olivia's, etc. Oh well!

Pool refurb is usually pretty mellow unless they're taking it out entirely. Tends to involve more "drain it, clean it, give it love." If it needs a fence, that may be a part of it, but most fences have gone up without pool closure.
