So we just found out that our CC denied our deposit payment :mad:but OKed our first month payment for our AP. We purchase these on May 19th, just before the increase.

Hoping that Disney will still honor the price, and just ask us to pay the deposit with another CC or means.... which we can do.

We got the confirmation number and all through an email when we purchase the tickets. It was just an oversite on our part, using a CC that at the time we thought had a a good balance to use.

Are we dreaming or are we about to get a shock.....

Hoping for a dream..... :yay:

If this was a Chase Bank card and you had -not- told them a charge coming thru from another state they will deny until they talk to you. had zero balance on my card and Chase did this to me...was so mad. understand the theft thing but geeze and I lost discount because of it.....:sad1:

If they are using the payment plan, they have to live in Cali, right?

It says right there, Cotati, CA.

Chase can be a bit overbearing with the fraud protection but the assumption that they hold up charges from out of state is false. We make plenty of purchases from out of state on ours and never had an issue. They have held up charges for other reasons. Even when we purchased our hoppers from DL a couple months back. I was doing all four as separate transactions in order to use 12 gift cards online and on the third charge I was declined and my phone rang almost immediately with Chase Fraud Prevention asking if the charge was legit. Oddly, the fourth one was held up by Disney so I has to use my AMEX.

Maybe the issue wasn't an out of state purchase. Maybe it was you hadn't used the card in a while since it had zero balance and that flagged them to make sure it was being used by the owner.

Thanks for the replies, fello Disney Disboard people.

yep, live in sunny CA, north of SF. WW spoke with a Tim at the AP office, said that because of a computer glitch, we should of received an email explaining that the card was denied; and that we could use another CC to cover the deposit.

Said there is NO problem, will post notes in the system amd advised us to go to the ticket booths when we get there and all should be good.

Thought we may have to pull the "but we have stock in Disney" card (which we do).

So, hopefully it will be, could really use some DL magic right now

Moral of the story: Pay attention to the details and don't lose faith in the magic.....:thumbsup2
