Bummed out

Yesterday morning I woke up only to discover that I had gotten shingles! Not impressed! It's bad enough getting them but my case is only on my face so I look pretty scary. After a trip to the doctor and 164 dollars later for meds I was pretty upset. But the good news is that I didn't give in to my feelings of woe me and eat everything in site, I actually stay on program so this is good. I only hope by the time I go to Disney my face will somewhat be cleared up since it takes 2-4 weeks to heal. Thanks for listening.

Ouch! Hope you're not in too much pain - shingles can hurt AND itch! Hang in there, use your meds, & stay OP and you'll be OK. Hope you feel better soon!

Thank heavens you are on the medicine! This will hopefully keep you from suffering for too long - shingles can be very miserable!

Oh, I'm sorry to hear about your shingles. Good for you for not letting it get you off plan. Keep the faith and you will not be sorry. I hope you feel better soon.

Sometimes it seems easy to stay on plan when everything is going good or right in our life. It's more difficult to stay on plan when things are difficult. Good for you in learning that this program is a way of life and not something you take off when times get tough. I hope you feel better real soon and congrats in being able to stay mentally focused enough to truly make this a way of life for you! I can tell you will be very successful.

Tons of that your shingles are gone before your trip and that you're feeling much better. I think it's great that you stayed on plan!! That's so hard to do when you're not feeling well.
