I bought some Chaco sandals that I'm going to have to return.
I tried on at least 20 pairs of shoes before I found the perfect pair of shoes. Chacos. They felt soooo good on my feet. That was before I wore them around the house for 15 minutes. I'm flat footed and my feet were killing me.
Any other flat footers out there with a good shoe suggestion? :sad2:

Wow, my dh has flat feet, and he swears by the Chacos!! I didnt find them comfortable as my feet pronate!

Well, if you can get past the "ugly" really ugly shoe, many of us have converted to Croc believers!! 2 HUGE threads on the ugly Crocs... www.crocs.com

I tried on 3 different styles of Crocs. Medium was too small and large was way too large. I need a medium and a half. :teeth:

sorry Monica, I can understand... I'm going to cut and paste a quote from "Boston Rob" from the crocs thread...

Apparently the Cayman, in addition to being available in whole sizes, was redesigned to accomidate narrower feet. I, having wide feet, enjoy the width of the standard Beach model

But I would definately want to try them on too - I had called a sporting goods store and they said they were expecting a shipment in April, Bostonrob found his at REI, a camping outdoor store, I saw that a Marina a few miles from here also sells them! So hope you can find ones that are sized... for your feet's sake!!

I have flat feet, and I live in soft footbed Birkenstocks in the summer (I'd wear them all year, but they don't go do good in the snow). The cork footbed is great because it forms to your foot.

My sister is as flatfooted as a person could possibly be (and has other orthopedic problems, to boot) and she pretty much lives in her Birks all summer long. She loves them.
