Oh yes, its me again!!!

The questions never end!!

I read the WDW boards alot, and I know people rave about places to build their own Rice Krispies Treat... Does anyone know if DLR has that?

Im totally wanting to give that a shot.

Thanks

No, sorry as I recall they were already made up. I went to the candy shops in the park, and Marcelenes, and they were already made along with the caramel apples. Bummer, but no DL does not have a place to build your own.

All I know regarding WDW is, there are shops where you can get a rice krispy mickey ears... and then theres like a million topping options.. Chocolate - Dark, Milk, White.. Oreo's , peanut butter, caramel

and you can load up your treat with all this stuff... I hear people use their snack credits with their Dining Plan for these. I know they also do pretzel sticks.

Too bad DLR doesnt have anything like it.

Speaking of creations, my kids really enjoyed their peanut butter painter's palette at Disneyland at the Carnation Cafe. Their sandwich came on a platter that looked like a painter's palette with peanut butter already spread on the bread. It came with several toppings, like jelly, sliced banana, raisins and marshmallows. Also came with stawberries and orange wedges. The kids had a good time creating and of course we had to take pictures of their masterpiece before they gobbled them up! They also got to meet Oscar, the longest working employee there.

That does sound fun. Tell us more on how you would build your own!

At Goofy's Candy Company in DTD in WDW they offer this. You can start with an apple, a big oreo, pretzle sticks, marshamallows, or RK Treat. You then choose what kind of chocolate (dark, white, or milk) or caramel you want it dipped in . Then you choose your toppings....m&ms, oreos, mini chocolate chips...all differnet kinds of candies. Then you can get it drizzled with chocolate again or caramel.

lol yes as I said in the above statement that is only done at WDW, they offer great candy shops at DL, but nothing like what you can do at Goofy's Candy Company. As I said Marcelenes, the candy shop on Main street they both offer you a view of the candy being made, and you can get it right after it's done, but ONLY WDW has create your own.

We purchased a little box of things to decorate a large cookie at Princess Fantasy faire. The kids loved it. They had two colors of frosting, several shaped sprinkles and a larrge cooke, a stick to spread frosting and a wet wipe to clean up afterwards.
