Saturday we will be going camping at the Fort for the first time. We camp alot and I was wondering can you build a fire at your campsite. what time is the parade and the outdoor movie and the s'mores cook out.

No campfires at your site, although some times I've heard that you can bring/use your own enclosed firepits. Not sure if they're allowed now. As of last month, we were told they were still in the middle of a 2 year drought and no open fires at all were allowed.

Not sure if the time changes, but last month the Electric Water Pageant went by the FW beach around 9:30-9:45.

The light parade starts around 9:45

You can have a fire in an enclosed and covered firepit

The outdoor movie starts at 7:40

They light the fires ar 6:30 and you can make smores until the moves are over.

We were there 12/27 till 1/5 and built a fire each night. Security even came by and said no problem as long as it is covered.

I too was wondering about bringing your fire pit...now I know. My list of stuff to bring is getting longer and longer. My husband keeps reminding me that we only have a F250 not a dump truck!

LOL!!! I keep trying to add more stuff to our stash to bring along as well. Keep tellin hubby that we've got a car carrier for the top of the van, now we just need to get one for the back.
