Katie got her very special little surprise today from James, the son of Momtoce&j.

His name is Bluey, and Katie LOVES him! Thank you so much! It made her day!

We bought Elizabeth and Bluey at the BAB store. Both Elizabeth and James picked out their respective bears' shirts themselves. They wanted the new owners to know whether their new friend was a boy or a girl. My kids really LOVED this exchange. So did I for that matter.

Elizabeth received yesterday afternoon 2 outfits for her bears from Katie - DD to shmoogrrrl. a very cute pink shirt w/ matching jeans from limited too, and a Virginia is for lovers shirt and denim skirt. I would post pictures of all three outfits on their bears if someone could walk me through the how to's of adding pictures.

She's here...Cassidy's new arrival.

Her name is Elizabeth. Cassidy loves her and her special name. Elizabeth made the bear for Cassidy and Cass'dy's Nana's name is Elizabeth. That makes her extra special.

I'm soooo happy she loves her new friend. Elizabeth was excited to hear that 'Elizabeth' had arrived, but was already in bed when the pictures were posted. Today was a busy day, (not enough time in the morning and Grandpa's b-day dinner tonight), so she still hasn't been able to see the pictures. Hopefully, I'll be able to log on in the morning and show her how happy 'Elizabeth' looks in her new home.

So glad your daughter's package had arrived. I couldn't remember which one you were waiting on sorry. Now I believe Scratch's DD is all that is left.

Oh I am so glad she loves her bear. James took his time inside the BAB store looking at all the bear skins, picking out just the right one for his new friend in Virginia. He made a wish and kissed his red heart before putting it inside 'Bluey'. (He did have a tough time trying to pick out a good name. Nothing his sisters suggested was to his liking. He came up with 'Bluey' all on his own.) Then, the shirt was another thing he took his time about picking out. He really enjoyed doing this exchange.

We can't wait for the next BAB exchange to come along.

I'm no expert but I can try to help you post the pics - right click on the pic then choose "Properties" - copy the URL - the on the reply page click on the icon that says "insert image" (looks like a picture with yelllow background) - paste the URL into the pop-up field - then - at top right of reply screen click "close all tags"
