Is there a Build A Bear at Downtown Disney?? I thought I read somewhere that there was! :earsboy: :earsgirl:

DTD in CA has a Build a Bear, I believe. DTD in FL (WDW) does not had a Build A Bear.

Build a Bear is only in DTD in California. I had DD a Princess Aurora bear made two years ago. I hope this helps.

Nope no build a bear at DTD just a build a mr potato head and a build a My LIttle pony

The closest Build A Bear facility can be found at Florida Mall, which is about 30 minutes up I-4 East from WDW.

The build a bear clothes do NOT fit Pal Mickey well at all.
They are way too big.
However, a few items look o.k. on him. Some people like the very oversized look.
The raincoat looks fine, and works for some level of water protection.

The Target Build-A-Bear (which is much smaller) has clothes that fit the Pal Mickey.

Thanks so much for the info :flower: I think I'll head over to target today :teeth:

Where are the build a potato head and ponies. My youngest ds is 4 and would love it.

Build-a-bear clothes do fit the Mickey Bear. I have 3 big bears, the santa bear and the My First Mickey Bear. I bought the Tinkerbell outfit from Build-a-Bear and it fits my white Mickey Bear perfect. When we were going last Oct, we found a pirate outfit to put on my brown Mickey bear and he went to the park with us as our mascot for MNSSHP. We all dressed as pirates and pirate wenches. We even got our mascot a MNSSHP wristband. :teeth:

Here's a picture of us at MNSSHP:

Actually the real name is Disney Bear. If you look at the picture below, you will see that his face has a Mickey head outline. Plus his paws have the same Mickey head outline and he has one on his behind.

They come in different colors. I have a White, Med Brown & Turquoise Blue. Then my DD has a purple one. They also have a light Brown, Dark Brown, Pink and a Slate Blue. There is also a My First Disney Bear that is smaller.

They are all soft and cuddly and squishy. I have two smaller versions that have magnets in their paws at work. One sits on a picture frame and the other is hooked to my bamboo plant.

Yes, but the poster was asking if the build a bear clothes fit Pal Mickey, most of ours do not - to big.

The raincoat sounds cute my dd's would love that. Last trip a nice CM' make a mickey poncho out of a bag for PM, it was cute. My girls have the Livestrong bracelets for the BAB - that would look cute on PM as well.

You can find them in the MK, DTD, AK. My DD did a Mr. Potato Head. It is a great deal all the extras you can fit in the belly and box included. :flower:

For Larklynn,
check out page four of this thread. The post is titled Mr. Potato does Disney. :cool1:OOPS sorry just noticed an older post......

To answer the question about Disney clothes at the Build a Bear in the Florida Mall...

We were there in May and at that time they had the SW costume, a Tink Costume, Aurora, Buzz and Woody. They were sold out of the Cinderella one. They did not have any special Disney themed t-shirts. I ordered the SW and Cinderella costumes from the Build a Bear website before our trip because I was afraid that they wouldn't have them. DD4 made an adorable bear and we just took along our 2 outfits and showed them to the salesperson as we entered.
