Buick Rendezvous owners?

We're considering this car for our son - what do you love/hate about your Rendezvous?

By far my most favorite car I have owned, and I have had over a dozen types of cars. I remember in '01 exiting Test Trac and there she was
I saved up and bought my Rendezvous in '04. It was my 10th wedding anniv. present. Husband is gone, but I still have and love the car!

We just bought a used one a couple months ago... We did have an issue with the antilock brake system, but they fixed it. I talked to another owner, and he had the same issue.

Other than that...I love it. The 3rd row is great for us, it looks sharp and is good on gas
We have 105k on it.... It's a 02 model..

This really seems to be the best of all the car worlds - it's not a car, not really an SUV - seems very nice on the inside, and is priced very well.

I would rather him have "car" around him than the Celica/Tiburon he has been looking at!

pros - the interior is really comfortable and I agree it's a nice combination of an SUV and Van without having the minivan look. It's also decent on gas and a smooth ride.

Con's - The engine blew out at 90K miles - needed a new engine to the tune of $5K. Not sure what the problem was however the car now has 125K miles on it and would most likely need to go another 20K for the replacement engine to be cost effective.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Rendezvous. I would trade it in for a newer one if I had the money. Ours is an '02.
