What kinds of bugs and creepy crawlies can tou expect to find in Orlando? If any

LOVEBUGS LOADS OF EM (don't bite)

Mossies, gnats, horseflies in abundance and do bite so you will need mossie cream.

Occasional spider beware the little brown ones apparently.

Cockroaches depending on where you stay.

Various types of snake.

Alligators.

Best till last... Fire Ants millions of the little so and so's and when they bite it HURTS.

I have seen all of these on my visits in March, April, May, September, October and December.

Been going to Florida for years (usually the summer June - Sept) and never had any of the above or been bitten once.

My wife is usually bitten as soon as she gets of the aircraft but again she has never been bitten either.

Maybe it depends where you stay and if you hang out around water in early evening.

hello,

I just got home this morning after a brilliant 2 weeks. I did get a few bites from mossies this trip but i think that may have been because we were close to a few lakes. The only other bugs that we saw were love bugs which kept flying into our car but they seemed harmless.
