Bugs how bad are they - didn't see anything posted

Hi

We're leaving in 7 days . I read on a packing list to pack bug spray, but how bad are the bugs? We will be at WDW until the 17th, just how bad are the mosquitos?

I'm a 'squito magnet but I've never been bitten at WDW so I don't think it's an issue unless you're staying at the campgrounds...

We've never had a problem with insects, and DD is a "bug magnet" too.

I have only gotten bitten a few times at WDW in all our trips. They do a phenomenal job with the bugs and it isn't a problem at all. I wouldn't even worry about bug spray.

I back up what previous posters have said. DS and I are bug magnets, but we never had problems at WDW. Have a great time!

I was worried as dd5 & I are both bug magnets too. This is her first trip and I haven't been since '92.

Wow now that you brought that up I don't remember seeing any bugs, and we never put on any bug spray. I think in one of the travel books I read they did stress bug spray for the nightly campfire at the Wilderness Lodge. Maybe that is really the only place you need to worry about it.

We have always packed bug spray & never, ever needed it! We recently returned from 8 nights/9 days at CBR & I never saw one mosquito there or at the parks.

Just back Tuesday & now that I think about it, I do not think I ever saw a bug at WDW our entire trip!!

Where are you staying? We stayed at POR from 5/14-5/21 and we all had bites on legs and ankles. Stayed at AKL 5/21-5/25 and did not get additional bites.

We're staying at CBR from June 10 - 17, we will be visiting Animal Kingdom Lodge, the Poly and CR during our stay.

POR from the 20 to 26th last month. Did not see a bug. Lizzards everywhere but no bugs. Unless you are going to the campground I would not bother.
