Bugs bad in October?

We have been to disney the past 2 September's and the lovebugs were bad. We are going camping for the first time the first 2 weeks of October this year. Are the lovebugs bad at FW and how about other bugs? We have not camped in quite awhile and want to be prepared. We will be camping in a tent. Thanks.

there will probably still be some left over lovebugs, but we never have any other bug trouble when we were ther in Oct. HAVE FUN

Usually we don't in October but this last October they were a nuisance. Even though I wear my hair in a ponytail, I would brush out some remnants of the pesty little beasts. I quickly learned not to yap when riding my bike or the Segway down the trail to the WL...I probably had my share of protein those days, one would think I'd learn my lesson after the first time .

Beware of the no-see-ums. We have never had any problems with no-see-ums until this last October. I was bitten a couple of times but DH and DS were bombarded until we figured we better use the Off spray daily.

This past Oct. the bugs were out and about. I don't know how many times I almost kissed the stairs as I tried to sneak out fast with the laundry before the bugs zipped in the door. My ankles got eaten alive down at the beach too.It felt like summer in Maine, hot/humid and buggy! lol. But it didn't bother us that much, we are going back!!!!
