I was wondering whether pushchairs/buggy's are safe in DLP.
Will they be safe left (with no valuables) while going on rides?

We have just bought a new 3 wheeler pushchair, its not a extremely expensive one we paid around £115 for it but i would be really upset if it went missing during our trip.
Do u think it would be safe enough to take the new 3 wheeler or would you suggest taking a cheapy pushchair to be safe?

My daughter will be almost 3yrs old when we go and we do need a pushchair with us as she wont last walking all day.

I have never had my pushchair taken and i have a mama's and papa's beat buggy. I would suggest that maybe you should take a lightweight stroller if your worried though hun.

How are you travelling? I'd be more concerned about it getting damaged in transit esp if flying. I did read on here a while back about someone recommending a bike lock to lock up your pushchair but tbh when I mentioned it in a post 99% of people said no need for one...

The Mama's & Papa's beat buggy is lovely, i would be even more gutted if that got stolen :rotfl: if yours has always been ok, im sure it should be safe enough.
Think i will take her new one after all ;)
Thanks hun, can always rely on you for DLP advice :thumbsup2

Everyone I have spoken to has never had a buggy stolen. It's one of my biggest fears for the holiday. We have bought a £25 Mickey Mouse buggy from Argos just incase!

I was considering buying this one as an extra but not sure as we have just got the 3 wheeler.

We've been twice and have never had a problem. I wld also suggest bringing a buggy instead though but that's just me. I like travelling light (although not always possible with kids lol) plus we found that the luggage racks on Eurostar always fills up quite quickly. So with the buggy, we cld always just stash it in a corner somewhere.

In our experience you'll have no problems with your own buggy while hired buggies sometimes go for a walk other than a CM sorting them out :rolleyes1

I wouldnt bring a bike lock as sometimes CM's need to move the pushchairs....

I must admit they moved mine once and i nearly had a heart attack lol! Just make sure you tie something on your buggy so it stands out and you won't have much trouble finding it :) Like the streamers from the parade or something.

The only problem with the buggy is that Kacee is so addicted to anything with Mickey Mouse on it that he hates sitting in it at the moment as when he sit's down he cant see the picture of his beloved 'Mouse'

We've taken our nice big Chicco buggy and it's always been ok. We're going again in Dec and I'm thinking of taking a bike chain with me just in case it's really busy and I get worried.

We have a very large 3 wheeler special needs pushchair which was quite expensive, we take a bike lock with us, but to be honest we only used it a couple of times when ds2 was anxious about someone taking it, we had a rented one go missing one year and he got so upset, so we use it just to show him that no one can take it.

we left ours for an hour once and it was fine, everyone leaves their buggies and Ive never known of one to have gone missing before
