Buggy boards for strollers?

Has anyone used one of these attatchments for your stroller so your toddler can stand behind as you push? I am thinking of using one at Disney if I can pick one up at a reasonable price. I think it may be easier for my very active almost 3 Y/O just to hop on and off the stroller instead of in and out of the seat. What do you think?

We haven't used one of those (my oldest is 15 months old), but they did a quick review of them in Consumer Reports this month. They said to make sure that your child is tall enough so that his whole head and face will clear the bar that you push for the stroller. Otherwise, when you stop, he may hit his head. Obviously, it could really hurt if the child hit the bar with his mouth and cut his lip. I'd definitely get one somewhere that you can take it back if it doesn't fit just right for you. Or if you buy it from somewhere that sells strollers, you could try it on at the store if they carry the stroller model you have.

I haven't used the buggy board but we had a plikomatic with the step on the back for an older child and LOVED it. It was great for the older child to hop on and off as needed, and we used it on many wdw trips. We did need to establish some guidelines for safety of course!

If they had the buggy board when my kids were small I can see myself using one. I also saw one that the older child could sit on as well as stand. A 3yo may need more of a rest at wdw than just standing on the back.

If the only reason you need the buggy board is for WDW consdier renting a sit n stand from a baby's best friend. They offer rentals for your length of stay, reasonable prices and deliver and retreive from the resort.
