should I bother bringing my bug? I have a 25 month old. I love the stoller and think that it would be nice to have for when he wants to nap since it reclines and has a parasol. The only thing is with the 2 part fold it isn't that convenient. We are staying at WL, so it is an issue except for MK. I hate to buy a new stroller just for the trip. Should I just rent 1 for the parks and have a cheapo umbrella fot DTD & BW? Also will my 6 almost 7 yo need a stroller for Epcot? Any suggestions?? It is my first time w/either of my kids @ DIS, so I am clueless.:confused3

I have a Bugaboo Cameleon and I would NEVER bring it to WDW even if you paid me :rotfl:

I've seen some people with Bugaboos, but usually with infants and a family member is always with the stroller. Are you at all concerned when you park your stroller it may not be there when you return??

I would NEVER park my Bugaboo in a themepark unattended, you're just asking for theft!

The key to strollers in WDW is to NOT have a stroller stand out (Brand wise). Maclarens and Gracos are everywhere. You WANT to blend in.

You have to fold the stroller to get on the boats to WL to MK, so that would be another headache.

Everyone I know with a Bugaboo has a version of a Maclaren stroller for travel. I would really consider purchasing one.

A cheap umbrella stroller has no canopy for sun shade, no recline for naps and short handles that break moms backs.

For WDW, I bought a Joovy Ultralight Caboose for my two boys. My DS4 likes the hop on hop off with the Bugaboo Kiddie board we have so the Joovy works perfect for us.

I don't even know how to fold the Bugaboo!:lmao: It stays parked in my foyer, I never close it.

How on earth would you get on a bus with a Bugaboo? What if you had two sleeping children? That's just a nightmare!:scared1:

Also in order to travel with the Bugaboo, you need to purchase the transport bag which is practically the price of a Maclaren stroller.

I say leave the Bug at home, you don't need stroller stress on vacation :lmao:

We have a Phil & Ted's sport buggy that I bring to the parks and I have never had a problem with anyone messing with it or anything. I was a bit nervous to bring it at first.....but after reading on the disboards at one time that people have had no problems with their expensive strollers, I just brought it along. I'm glad I did as I love our Sport buggy!

I don't have a Bugaboo, but went with friends to Disney that took one. When she got back, she bought a Macleron (s/p?) b/c it was just too tough when she had to break it down to get on the trams, etc.

We have the Bugaboo Frog, as well. I would NOT bring it. That is just too risky, in my opinion. While I love it, I'm afraid that a lot of other people would love it, too. Plus, it is such a monstrosity. I never did figure out how to collapse it in the two pieces correctly so I just leave it bulky in the back of my car. I'm looking into getting another stroller for the trip.
