Bug spray/suntan lotion next week?

Leaving in 7 days and although I have a bunch of suntan lotion out to pack, right now forecasts are highs in the low 60's so I'm guessing we'll either have windbreakers or long sleeve shirts on much of the time. I know I'll need it for faces/necks and in case it warms up, but do you think I need a lot (as if we were going in summer)?

Also, is there a need for bug spray at this time of year if we're just primarily going to the theme parks?

I've been to WDW ten times, mostly in the summer, and never used bug spray- its very rare that I even see a bug.

I would take sunscreen, even if you don't end up using it, at least you'll have it just in case. We were there 12/16- 12/20 and never used it and I have fair skin. -Steph

We have never used bug spray either no matter when we went. Don't use much sunscreen either as much of WDW is in the shade.

Insects were pretty bad after the hurricanes but they seem to be gone now. I would use sunscreen though.

We never wear sunscreen when we go this time of year and we have never had a problem with bug bites EXCEPT, we got eaten alive by mosquitos over at Islands of Adventure! We have never had one single bite at WDW.

We ate outside late yesterday afternoon at MGM and my brother kept saying he was getting bit. The rest of us were fine though! I suppose it can't hurt to bring some. Sun was also very strong yesterday - we all came home with some color.

We've never had bug problems, but the sun can be tough, even in Jan. We will bring some sunscreen with us just in case.

I'm 43 and use sunscreen every single day and don't have many wrinkles, plus DH has basal cell cancers on his face, so my opinion is use sunscreen always outdoors.
