Bug Bombs

Has anyone ever used one of these??? My sister is planning to set a few of these off in her house, as she is seeing WAY TO MANY SPIDERS,,,I would think that they would be a big mess,,I mean do you have to take all your food out of the house and all your cooking stuff and dishes and all....I just imagine all that POSION getting on everthing..and what about the beds and all,,,,I can't imagine sleeping on them after the residue would settle on them.
Is she looking at a major clean up after this..I may be looking at it wrong...but I would think she could spray for some spiders lol.....just wondering if anyone ever used these?

We have used smoke ones in the past (not for a long time though). Just pop the top of can off, light the powder, it smokes away for a few minutes (no flame). Animals do need to be taken out, and you just come back after a few hours, air the place out and all is okay.

Tink, I have never used these myself so I don't know (other than once for fleas and we all had to clear out). My husband likes to have one of those chemical law services come to take care of our undesirables in the yard, and they offere a bug/spider spray as part of their services. So I believe yesterday they came and sprayed around the outside of the house. And while I realize it won't get rid of the icky spiders immediately, I am sure I will see a difference soon. I've also sprayed for fleas around the outside in the past. Don't know if it truly has made a difference or not, but so far (knock on wood) my cats have been flea free since I've done it. So I would suggest going that route before doing bug bombs.

I will tell Kelly about the smoke ones,,,not sure what she has,,,and helenbear,,she has had out side sprayed,, so maybe she will wait a bit,,,,, thanks again
