I have booked the Donald's Break. at AK and Dinner at 1900 Park Fare. I was wondering about the Crystal Palace. What's the best meal there, B,L or D? We are a party of six with 4 adults and 2 children - a seven year old and 1 year old. Also, opinions on Donald's and 1900 Park Fare.

Hi! Our ds's first character meal was when he was 15 months old (dd's was 7 at the time). Just about the same ages as your kids!

We have been to Crystal Palace for dinner three times, Breakfastosaurus twice, 1900 Park Fare for character breakky and dd went for the Wonderland Tea Party. Love them all! I beleive they are on my dd's (now 9) top 5 list of places to eat at WDW!

Since we have only had dinner at CP I can only rave about it. It's pricy, but you get a lot! There is prime rib and I would easily spend $21 on a prime rib dinner. The kiddie food is awesome. My kids love it there! It's so open, airy and beautiful!

Go by your family needs. Are you kids good mid-day? Then try CP for lunch. If morning is best, do breaky!

You are going to have a great time! S

Hello fellow Massachusetts traveler. I can only give you an opinion on 1900 Park Fare. We were there last Oct and the food was very good. We did go at a crowded time though but the charactor interaction was absolutely terrific for such a crowded place. Two other buffets I've gone to are really good, Trails End Bufferteria at FW and Cape May at BC.

We went to CP last March and loved it. The food was fantastic!!
We had the first lunch seating because we missed breakfast and everything was great !!! It was not one of the cheapest restaraunts but the value was great. For lunch they had prime rib,a seafood paella, some kind of chicken and many other choices. I can't remember them now, it was too long ago. They had a large variety of side dishes also, and a kids station. They also have a dessert table.
We will definitely be doing this one again, only this year maybe we'll actually make breakfast.

You've picked 3 great places

Love breakfast at Donald's. It is a favorite of ours. ate the in 2000 and 2002

had dinner at 1900 pk in 2001. Great food. Too bad the villians are gone.

CP is another favorite. Great lunch in 2000, great breakfast in 2002. Characters are great.
Our best memory of first trip is the expression on then 2 1/2 DD's face when she saw piglet. DH says it was worth the price of the trip.

The best buffet on property is Boma at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. While you are there, take time to explore the resort and visit the savannahs.

Next would be Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club, followed by Restaurant Akershus at Norway.

The above three are all a cut above the Crystal Palace at MK.

Non of which are character meals (except cape may if it is breakfast).
